I realize drops are luck based and my luck is usually pretty bad, but I am thinking this is a little ridiculous for the new scales.
I looked in Runescape Gold Wiki and it was reported that sirenic scales are a rare drop from gladius and the keys are a very rare drop.
With over 500 gladius kills so far today, I have had 6 keys, over 500 charms and 0 sirenic scales.
As I said, I understand bad luck, but at this is stupid imo. Should i have not statistically received one scale by now?
Come on JageX, I understand bad luck, but lets be at least a little bit reasonable!!!
Maybe add a new mechanic to code that counts max kills without a specific drop (in this case the new scales) and whatever that number is the player gets that drop.
This way the unlucky people get to enjoy the excitement of receiving the new drop at some point in time as well. I dont want to go two weeks and over 10k of kills without getting a single scale just because i am unlucky. Way to frustrating.
I would appreciate hearing other ideas to combat the problem some of us will not receive a drop just because we are extremely unlucky.
Anyone else notice that other rune/addy drops from gladius are less common, before yesterday you could make 1m/h from alching the drops but yesterday I was making half that. Buy Runescape Gold legs/addy plates was common and now its mainly addy legs and few rune maces.
